oh no, I finished a shoujo anime *dies*
Finished watching Vampire Knight.
SIGH.
Loved it.
First I wanted to ship Zero/Kaname because they are both so friggin HOT, but I just can't really ship them when their love for Yuuki is so powerful. I suppose I can imagine Zero hatefucking Kaname and Kaname letting him do it because (for who the hell knows what reason) it would protect Yuuki. And I can also see Kaname fucking Zero if pureblood jizz is the same as blood and can keep Zero from becoming a Level E. Again, for Yuuki's sake. I can't have the two of them together without her being the underlying motive, it would be inherently OOC.
So yeah I ship Zero/Yuuki. I'm a BORING HET SHIPPER. D: And ironically, when I finally find a pairing I like that could actually end up together in canon, THEY DON'T. Though I think that's part of why I like them. Wouldn't be interesting without the sad sad triangle. I was glad that he accepted in the end that she was going with Kaname, but I felt so baaaaaad. I don't understand why in the end he says he's going to have to kill her one day, I mean, not ALL vampires go on the hunters' list, right? And she's a pureblood. Anyway, whatever, I love those two together. It is so hot when he drinks her blood, seriously. Also he's so in love with her. They think about each other all the time and yet they really don't know the truth about each other at all...<3
As for Kaname/Yuuki, all I will say is I don't hate it, since I like both of them (though Kaname was pissing me the hell off for awhile), and since it was sort of fated, I'm fine with it. BUT IT MAKSE ME SAD because she should have been with Zeroooooo. The reason I can still kind of enjoy it is because it is also sad -- thinking about all the things Kaname did just for her, and how damn LONELY he must have been with his sister with no memories for ten whole years, and how horrible he must have felt when he realized how much he was hurting her by keeping secrets and such. So it's sweet. BUT ZERO/YUUKI IS SWEETER STILL.
Then of course there is Zero/Ichiru. Which I can actually buy into, unlike Zero/Kaname, for obvious reasons. And yes, I am a horrible person: the line "Ichiru is...inside me" made me LOL. Awwwz. But seriously their little twin flashback scenes are the sweetest things. And it's so sad what happened to Ichiru; I'm glad he sort of redeemed himself and I teared up in that one scene when they were all bleedy together and hugging and Ichiru died. Uwaaaa. UWAAAAA.
While we're on the subject of pairings I have to mention how adorable Aidou Hanabusa is with his love for Kaname. XDD I totally ship that, one-sided of course. Also, I ADORE Kaien Cross and he is so obviously gay for everyone Yagari. He is so ridiculously hot in the end when he busts out his hunter outfit and stuff. OMG. Love. Him.
I am a little confused by a lot of the plot in the second part, but I think I understand it all now. For a long time I was like wtf Kaname why don't you just kill Rido? And Zero absorbing Ichiru's power...did what, exactly? Besides give him temporary monsterarm? What I still don't quite get is why Rido was wanting to go so far to get Yuuki. I mean, he wanted the Kuran blood but isn't he a Kuran himself? And he got Kaname's blood to, so...I dunno -- he keeps calling her by her mom's name; does he just want her for the sexy?
Which brings me to the all-too obvious point about how drinking blood = having sex. It's not subtle at all. XD Yuuki's little orgasm poses ftw. And I love how Kaname is so hurt that Zero drank Yuuki's blood before he did (HAHA).
Also where are Kaname and Yuuki and their entourage going to go? And are there any rules at all about vampires being out in the sun? Because they seem to only complain about it, not actually suffer at all. And also UWAAAAAA Zero-kunnnnnnnnnn~ *cries*
Anyway, this is my brain on shoujo. I don't know what to do with all the estrogen, I really don't. I want to write some fanfiction. It's just begging for a threesome fic. Must finish the L/Light/Misa first. ;)
