Hi. It's me again. Not sure if anyone remembers I exist or not. I've been terrible on the communication front. Sorry about that. Really miss you all, and I'm sure I even told some people I was going to get in touch but the mental note went missing in the recesses of my head. Again, really sorry. Poke me or something please. It's not on purpose, honest.
Um, so I guess I ought to tell about my life for the last few months or so, but not much has happened, thus the no writing or communication or anything. I'm stuck in neutral for the time being which is frustrating because I honestly though I would have worked certain things out by now. Turns out I'm more of a hermit/lazy ass than I gave myself credit for. Heh. Mentally there's lots going on (which probably wouldn't be the case if I hadn't spent a short eternity in hermit mode, so I guess it's a good thing in a funny way...); hopefully one day you will all see or hear some of it. Physically I seem to spend my fair share of time running after toddlers these days, which is exhausting. But besides that, there's not much else of note. (Unless you’re the sort of person who enjoys geeking out about the new season of Doctor Who. That I could go on about for days… Did you know Mount Vesuvius is not only still an active volcano, but the most heavily populated one in the world? Eep. Wonder if that last eppi will change any minds...)
Well, I did figure out what to do with the rest of my life. That's a start. I am going to be an 'Electronic Engineering Technician'. That's a fancy way of saying I'm going to learn how to fix things. Really excited about it. I like fixing things. I start at NSCC in the winter for sure, hopefully in the fall- I'm waitlisted for the fall for now.
So yeah... *shrug* Barring the publishing of my magnum opus, that's about it.
P.S. Anyone around here interested in doing something birthday-ish sometime next week? Bowling maybe? Or a movie? Call, email, text, Facebook, whatever. Will be glad to hear from you. (As long as you'll actually talk to me like a human rather than sending me one of those horrid impersonal unexplained invitations. They're driving me a bit mad.) But yeah, fun is good.
P.P.S. Yes, (for those who don't read this on their own page) the current layout is hideous. Need to fix that sometime. Very sorry about that too. (Is it just me, or am I starting to sound like the Doctor now with all the sorrys... :/ )
