Oh 2010 Yearly Review
I don't think anybody even uses livejournal anymore but it's a yearly tradition.
1)What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before? Found a room mate on Craigslist
2)Did you keep your new years' resolution, and do you plan to make new ones? I didn't keep my new years resolution, but I've made a couple new ones. To be gluten free with one cheat a month and they roll over so I can save days for Holidays, and to make one freaky deaky art thing a month
3)Did anyone close to you give birth? Katie Duris gave birth
4)Did anyone close to you die? No
5)What countries did you visit? Just the boring old US but I did visit Durham North Carolina in November NYC in January, March, and September and Denver Colorado in December
6)What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? more free time
7)What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? ughhh I always think about erasing this question because I never know what to say, but I guess 21 September 2010 cause I had that awesome aidswalk fundraiser
8)What was your biggest achievement of the year? Starting School
9)What was your biggest failure? Not staying gluten free
10)Did you suffer illness or injury? Just got the flu :(
11)What was the best thing you bought? Tickets to Bogota Colombia
12)Whose behavior merited celebration? Tim for helping me when I'm sick and being generally awesome
14)Where did most of your money go? Rent. FOOD eating is expensive.
15)What did you get really, really, really excited about? I got really excited about the barista competition. I'm excited again this year and determined not to get sick

20)How will you be spending Christmas? Christmas has already past. I went to Denver with Tim to visit his family. They were super nice and bought us lots of candy. What more can you ask for really?

24)Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No
25)What was the best book you read? The Joy of Cooking
26)What was your greatest musical discovery? I wish I had listened to more music but I would say rediscovering Blonde Redhead. Das Racist is pretty good too but I used them for my song already.
27)What did you want and get? A computer to do well in school with and a printer for my lengthy papers I'm sure I'll be writing.
28)What was your favorite film of this year? Black Swan
29)What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 26 on my actual birthday I went to work and to sleep. I had an AIDS benefit before it and a trip to NYC after.
30)What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I stand by working less

37)Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: Going to school part time will have you finishing never, just do it. I'm starting school full time in January I have no idea if I'm going to be able to pay my rent but who cares. I'll figure it out as I go.

Haha Tim and I had to look up three of the words in that song on urban dictionary. This past year was a little akward but that is fine. I started school I stayed in my apartment. I'm probably going to be here for another year. I got a new roomie when mine moved out. I started working at Dolcezza Gelato in February, and have been working there for almost a year now. It's like things are just evening out for a while. I've been dating Tim since June. Things are good I'm happy. I'd like to move above ground, (I live in a basement), I'd like to finish school faster. Oh well
