Secretly or not so secretly I love doing this

1)What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before? Participated in the Mid-Atlantic Barista Competiton, Won a Latte Art Competition

2)Did you keep your new years' resolution, and do you plan to make new ones? Yes I was much better at being gluten free and I started riding my bike ALOT more. I think moving into the city really helped that.

3)Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes, my friend Sharyn gave birth to a beautiful baby boy

4)Did anyone close to you die? No

5)What countries did you visit? Just the boring old USA But I did travel to Bloomington, IL in December Pittsburg PA in February and Atlanta Georgia in May

6)What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? A Dresser

7)What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 5 February The barista competition in Pittsburgh, PA the first time I'd been there and it was pretty cool.

8)What was your biggest achievement of the year? Getting a great new job, and having my art work in National Geographic Traveler Magazine though I think it's going to be in the February issue

9)What was your biggest failure? Oh procrastinating in general. Also I really wanted to find somewhere and live there for a year but I just can't seem to do that. I'm going to be moving again in January

10)Did you suffer illness or injury? Nope, sooooooooooooooooo lucky. The worst were some bruises and cuts I fell on my bike and scarred my ankle in the summer

11)What was the best thing you bought? A pair of really rad skinny jeans

12)Whose behavior merited celebration? Carolina my badass cuban friend helping me out for the win

14)Where did most of your money go? Rent. FOOD eating is expensive. And I like to do it.

15)What did you get really, really, really excited about? ATL Memorial Day Weekend!!!! Coke Museum...........it's great the second time around

16)What song will always remind you of 2009? "I'm on a Boat"- T-Pain

18)What do you wish you'd done more? Reading/ Writing

19)What do you wish you'd done less of? Moving

20)How will you be spending Christmas? So much better than last year we did family Christmas early because I was in Illinois. Then I'll be doing Christmas eve at Carolina's house and Christmas day at my boyfriend's parent's house. So pretty much tons of fun.

21)Did you fall in love in 2008? Yes........

23)What was your favorite TV program? BONES

24)Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No

25)What was the best book you read? Middlesex

26)What was your greatest musical discovery? Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

27)What did you want and get? To go visit my dad

28)What was your favorite film of this year? Inglorious Basterds

29)What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 25 I had a hipster party at my house. Honestly it kinda sucked, but Sam brought me gluten free cupcakes. That was good.

30)What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? A Dresser

37)Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: One step at time you can achieve your goals! I competed in the Mid-Atlantic Barista Competition and won TNT, I paid off two of my credit cards....Each thing had to start somewhere
