Welcome to Washington Barack Obama

I don't often share my political leanings over the internet. However, today was an exceptional day in history. In the nation's capitol there was peace, unity, and good cheer. We as a nation have made an excellent choice, a choice to join together and work for a peace, and equality for every person. Even if you did not vote for Mr. Obama, it is certainly moving the patriotism and hope that so many of us felt today. Every choice we make based out of love rather than fear strengthen our resolve, and improve our lives. This is true not only for the individual, but for the group as well.
I am most excited about the closure of Guantanamo. I am proud that my new president is not afraid to speak out against the atrocity of toture, and the gross abuse of the constitution. We are better than that! Although, it is a saddening occurance, I look foward to a new era of responsibility. A new era where torture is completely unacceptable. One where we look for tolerance, love and peace. One where we look for ways to enhance the lives of our fellow man, and not only our own.
I understand that in the following four years that is unlikely that I will agree with every choice President Obama makes. It is unlikely that I will agree with him on certain issues, particulary immigration and gay marriage. However, I do feel like this is a giant leap in the right direction.

I'm so proud of you America lets work together to change.
Good Luck Mr. Obama!
