Oh my god, that is the nicest ever! Awkwardly determined Patrick is so, so precious - and really now, that is actually exactly what was written on Pete's nametag. I love how light and fun this is. It is delightful!
Awwww, yes! I had to sort of make myself keep going despite my embarrassment squick, but then it was just so lovely. Twenty kisses! Pete giving Patrick his number! This is so cute. And Patrick totally called, right?
Oh, wow! It's funny, because I have a major embarrassment squick too, and yet I didn't even think about whether this would trigger it! Another case of it being really interesting being on the writer side versus the reader side.
Also, Patrick TOTALLY called. I forget what I was thinking would happen, but they were definitely going to meet for coffee somewhere just a little off-campus. I think. Ooh! And I bet Patrick does work-study at the music library, and Pete totally meets him there some afternoons and they make out in the stacks when Patrick takes the cart out to do some shelving, until Pete has to go off to cover his office hours, because he keeps getting texted by students.
Oh! Kissing fic! YAY!! Kissing booth kissing fic. And oh my god, this is just so unbelievable sweet, even if Patrick was afraid he was going to get punched and is swearing revenge on Andy.
And just the idea of Pete sitting lonely and bored at a kissing booth, doing his homework is fabulous.
