Hello, mysterious secret santa person! I'm so so sorry I haven't written you a letter before now. The dog ate it, or, uh, the pixels ran out of...electricity...um. Yeah. Sorry. But thank you so much for writing a story for me, I love you already, I promise. I honestly don't have a pairing preference, so feel free to go for which ever one you ( Read more... )

Hell, yeah, man. I love that song. I guess it was kind of cheap of me to use the first line, but it's such a great line! I couldn't help it.

6. JC, I think it's called "Right Here (by your side)"
12. NSYNC, "Falling"

I am not cool enough to know the others, although #13 intrigues me.

Gold star on both counts!

#13 is kind of an awesome song. I'm looking forward to seeing if anyone gets it. Though every time I hear it I end up singing it for days, which is always...interesting. For others.

Rocket Man was sung by Elton John originally, but I'll give it to you, especially as this was the Jason Mraz cover, and also, it's like the MOST COVERED SONG EVER. (well, okay, no. But still.)

Correctomundo on #4!

15. Jeff Buckley! (I'm not sure what it says about me that the only other one I got was JC. That I like skinny lads with good bone structure, perhaps?)

It says that you have good taste!

(Also, Jeff Buckley has always been my other-singer analogue to JC. Okay. This is a weird concept. I have singers that remind me of the NSYNC boys based on an unscientific mixture of their looks, their voices, and in some cases, their song lyrics. Jeff Buckley is JC. Jason Mraz is Justin Timberlake. The singer from Sister Hazel is Chris Kirkpatrick. I DON'T KNOW I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND IT EITHER MY BRAIN JUST DOES THINGS.)

Um, yes! That's it! ::shuffles breakneats under the sofa, cough::

I don't know Sister Hazel so I can't speak for that, but Jason Mraz = Justin is for the win. And brains are tricksy creatures; I tend to let mine go about its business with little interference. It's not like it pays attention to me anyway. (Currently, I'd like it to be working on a conference poster, f'rinstance. Ahahaha! ::sobs::)
