Revised road trip plans
OK, so...after all of the votes came in, it looked like May 18-22 is the stronger option. Sorry to all who voted on Memorial Day weekend. Who's available to go to SoCal for the 18th-22nd (Thurs-Tues)?
And, if you're available, here's what we gotta decide:
1. where to stay. I heard Karen is prepping for a missions trip to Surinam, so we don't wanna impose on her. Methinks a hotel is going to be the most reliable option. Let me know if you have other ideas. If we do a hotel, we need to decide whether we want to be closer to San Diego or Oceanside. I have to pick Eleon up from Oceanside either way, and Bill and Nick will be staying in San Diego.
2. what we want to do. I am all about the cheap thrills. I kid you not. So, I think the beach is probably a fabulous option. If you wanna do other stuff too, we should start talking about that soon.
3. who's gonna drive. This also depends on how many are going, and if we want the freedom to split into groups at any point (i.e. a group going to say the zoo or something while others do the beach thing).
Puh-leeze, people, let me know if you're interested in going. And let me know ASAP so I can book the hotel room. K? And let me know your thoughts on the three things above.
