Prayers are needed.....
It was a long week of praying, reading updates and waiting. On Tuesday evening the earthquake hit Haiti. That started me reading and praying for friends and for the situation in general.
Also on Tuesday evening my friend’s nine year old indoor cat escaped. My friend was heartbroken, and the next morning he still hadn’t shown up.
Finally today, George, the cat was found-safe in a neighbor’s garage and none the worse for the wear.
The nightmare in Haiti goes on, but prayers have been answered. Four young people who were running an orphanage are now safely in the states. Our two single friends are still in Haiti, unharmed, but working long hours in an increasingly desperate situation. So the prayers continue.
