Yuletide Santa Letter
Dear Yuletide Santa,
First off, you are awesome for doing this. <3 I love yuletide!
I think this is the first year that I didn't put very specific pairings for all of my requests. What I did request are things that have been on my mind all year. (I just found a post from May where I wrote down what I was thinking of requesting; these three are on there.) I will truly adore anything written for any of these three requests.
In general, I prefer fluff over angst, and I'm definitely not big on character death. Action and violence are fine, if they serve the story you want to tell!
Fandom: Lie To Me
Characters: Cal Lightman, Gillian Foster, Emily Lightman
Request:
I'd love to see something with Cal, Gillian, and Emily together as a family. It could be a figurative family (since as Cal's best friend, Gillian really is family already) or actual family (some future/AU time when Cal and Gillian are married). Any kind of family moment - Sunday breakfast, a quiet evening, vacation, Christmas, etc.
Additional details:
I ship Cal/Gillian pretty fiercely. However, I also love and adore their friendship, so if you prefer to leave it gen, that's fine! I like Zoe fairly well at this point, and I think her interactions with Gillian have gotten interesting, so if you want to include her in some way, go for it. Also, for the record, I've been enjoying season 3 quite a bit. (Just stating that because I know some people don't; not sure if it will affect your fic at all, but sometimes it's better to know as much as you can about the person you're writing for, right?)
Fandom: Stargate Universe (SGU)

Moments of downtime when people talk and bond and connect with each other. It could be everyday stuff, like doing laundry, or it could be downtime in the middle of a crisis - a lull in the action. I honestly love all of the characters and relationships. My 'dear santa' letter specifies my favorites, but explore whoever you like! I'd prefer no slash, though. (M/M friendship is fine.)
Additional details:
I really do love all of the characters -- I can't think of anyone on that ship that I don't like or find interesting! And I always enjoy when a couple people who don't often interact get thrown together somehow. All that said, here are my favorites.
Favorite characters: Rush, Eli, Greer, Chloe, Brody (he's an engineer, like me!), James
Favorite pairings (romantically): Chloe/Rush is my primary ship (a fact that still confuses the hell out of me). I like all of the canon pairings, especially TJ/Young. I don't see any slash pairings for this show (not including Camile/Sharon, who are adorable).
Favorite friendships/interactions: Chloe and Rush, Eli and Camile, Chloe and Eli, the science team (Brody, Volker, and Park), TJ and Chloe, TJ and Matt. Etc, etc, etc. Everyone!

Powers! I would love to see something exploring or using their powers in an interesting way. Maybe it's someone learning to use/control them, or someone using them in an awesome way. Use whatever characters you like - make up your own if you want! Pairings are fine, too. The only thing I ask is no Nick/Cassie in a romantic/sexual sense.
Additional details:
I have a huge love for powers and how people use them. The image that sticks in my head most from the movie -- and I love the whole movie -- is Kira perfectly controlling an entire squad of men. WOW. The movie was full of people not just having powers but using them. I hope that doesn't seem like a silly thing to get excited about! My only other comment is about Nick/Cassie -- I adore their relationship, and I really see them as friends/siblings, rather than anything romantic. Even if your story is set 10 years after the movie, I'd prefer if you didn't take their relationship to a romantic/sexual level.
