Agreed, he's a greedy, snarky git and vertically challenged (thanks, Nellas!), plus he plans world-domination, but I just love writing Lord Cutler Beckett. And Mr. Mercer. I even have drafts for Mercer-fics on my harddisk. There are not enough Misanthropes in the POTC universe.
I won't change my writing, but I'm curious: how do you feel about Cutler Beckett in Navy-stories? Does he have a place there? Or would you not include him yourself?
