I’m still waiting for something to even remotely provide me with the entertainment and delight of Garrow’s Law and the handsomeness that’s Andrew Buchan (and no, neither “Call the Midwife”, “Downton Abbey” nor “Mrs Brown’s Boys” will do, thank you very much), but at least there is a faint light on the TV horizon for 2015 for us aficionados of ( Read more... )

Well, all of those look good. And, of course, I'll have to wait forever to see them, IF the idiots at BBCA pick it up.

Poldark and Banished have already been confirmed for the US; no information yet about JS&MN. I hope it won't take too long, though. Fingers crossed! :)

Someone I follow on Pinterest keeps pinning Poldark pictures, so I am dying to actually see it now.

Yes, I'm very curious to see what they did with it. With Aidan Turner being in the Hobbit, I guess there's extra interest from his fans there, which can't be bad. :)

*sigh* All RTE is offering this year is the bio-series about Charlie Haughey. Thank gods for the BBC and ITV and their actual budget for programming like this :D

I'm absolutely useless at watching tv, I never seem to get round to it. I will have to make an extra special effort for these though!

He’ll always be Mitchell to me.
Me too *sniffle*.

I can't work without TV running in the background, so I at least get some of the things watched that I want (unless they run at some ungodly hours). I really want to see Poldark and JS&MN, though, so I'll make an extra effort. :)

Waahaahaa, now you almost made me cry! *sniff* Best of...

Oh, how I loved the original Poldark series! I remember watching it with my mother and Mr. C. Might even have been right before we got married because I remember watching at my family home, not the one C and I lived in. I'm definitely looking forward to the new one.

Poldark is legend! So I really, really hope they will do it justice; I'm very positive about it, though, they are both good actors, and they can win a whole new audience after 40 years. Very curious to see this! :)
