Racism: Stanley McMurtry: Beware of the Black Super Squirrel!
I don't know how many of you are familiar with the rag called "Daily Mail". It's a British paper which informs its readers daily about
- feckless people who are unemployed
- feckless people with disabilities
- feckless single mothers
- feckless youths
- feckless immigrants
- useless NHS
- useless BBC
- useless "'elf and safety"
- useless "PC"
- dangerous brown people in general
- random woman being too fat
- random woman being too thin
- Germany being mean with Britain
- France being mean with Britain
- Hitler
It goes without saying that it's a special type of person working for such a paper. One of them is MAC, actually Stanley McMurty, MBA, residential cartoonist. While a gifted artist, his humour is mostly miss, rarely hit. But no matter how racist or bigotted his cartoons, you'll always have the usual twits whinging about "no sense of humour" and "waaah, PC brigade".
Today he's hit a new low, though, even for his standards. He made a cartoon relating to this article about black squirrels
MAC ON... THE RISE OF THE BLACK SQURREL
"The black squirrel population is soaring and experts say it could eventually be the dominant variety."
What the everloving fuck.
One lone reader, the only one red-arrowed, asks if he's the only person who finds this cartoon offensive.
