I was quite troubled about how they made baby-stealing and resouerce-grabbing noble acts. ("Let's take the source of their power so they live in deprivation and humiliation - THAT WILL ENSURE ETERNAL PEACE." Uhm, yeah. That's working out very well at the moment on the global stage.)

Also, I absolutely hate anything that sells me a "born evil and destined to evil" racist shtick.

Absolutely. It's mind-boggling, who on earth could think this was ok? It's interesting to see that the audience didin't perceive that noble act as noble, though. My friend who went along to watch the movie is not into comics at all, and wondered why we were supposed to like the Ases. She saw Loki and the Frost Giants as victims of Odin's dellusions.

Fully agree, and again, the audience was smarter than the moviemakers. Most people I know who watched the movie rooted for the Frost Giants... as I said, if people prefer the "villains", your "good" guys must be really bad.

I find the reaction quite different from Americans versus Euros.

Your Loki icon has some serious bulge. I am intrigued.

...You people actually want to make me see this film. Shame on you. I will prolly end up slashing Thor and Loki - emotional incest...considering they aren't actually brothers.
