Norrington's Scruffington outfit on display (also Lord Cutler Beckett and assorted pirates)

Norrington as Scruffington is a bit like Marmite: to many fans, he's a "love it or leave it" matter. I'm firmly in the latter camp, but I still favour Scruffington over Admiral Nirringbö of the United IKEA fleet. And I should probably be grateful to Mr. Scruffington - after all, if it wasn't for his presence and the lack of Gillette, I'd probably ( Read more... )

The one thing I love about Scruffington is his boots. If I had the chance I'd hose him down, but I's have him leave the boots on.

Would prefer the clean-shaven commodore anytime but interesting to see the costume in more detail. Wonder if the coat is the actual undress coat he's seen to be wearing in COTBP?

Good question. There were a couple of them. One is in the Disney exhibition, one was auctioned off, so this leaves spare ones which they could have "scruffified".

Yes! I'm still gnashing my teeth that I didn't have the money to bid, and it went for such a small price! *whine* Bonhams also sold the coat, in a different auction. I hope it went to a good place...
