I'd make a post of my own, but yours sums up my sentiment so perfectly that I can't say it better. *refers world to this post*

"Curse you, villain!" was the first that came to my mind. After I threw a cushion at the screen and swore a blue streak, that is.

All I can say is: if your sofa is of the expensive variety, sit on the floor; you wouldn't want to leave bitemarks in the armrest!

WHO THE HELL WAS MORIARTY?????

I KNOW HIS VOICE FROM SOMEWHERE!
SOMEWHERE LOCAL TO Me - oh, that's better, I've stopped capslocking. But really, it is driving me up the wall and BBC shrank the credits so I couldn't see and IMDB has no reference to him and I NEED to KNOW.

Do you know?
*is a bit pathetic*

Andrew Scott. He's from Dublin, so yes, he would sound familiar to you, I guess! :)

I've seen him in something, I'm sure of it.

Thank you, I was climbing the walls trying to riddle it out!

He looked familiar to me as well, but looking at his IMDB page, I don't know where to place him. But then I have a notoriously bad memory for faces.

That Moriarty was fantastic - and so much like Holmes in his own peculiar way! "Moriarty" is trending worldwide on Twitter, by the way - hahaha! Now I can die a happy woman!

According to a Spanish friend, Barbossa's uniform is Spanish, but "very dirty, ewwwww!" - I've also seen some pictures of re-enactors in Spain, wearing uniforms which looked a lot like Barbossa's. I'm waiting for more material to surface, but for now, I think it is Spanish (it would make sense if we look a the casting as well).

What a good summer it's been for media!

About time! :-D

Is that the most fitting macro ever?

Oooooh - it pains me to say this, as I loved loved LOVED the last two episodes (not to mention any new reincarnation of SH, especially one with Mark Gatiss involved is brilliant), but I wasn't overwhelmed with tonight's. Boo to me :(

It was still good fun and all, and the cliffhanger and last 10 minutes were great, but I thought it was a bit draggy in places (or maybe I'm just sore as Moriarty wasn't who I thought he'd be). I am Moriarty's look of surprise and disappointment.

Still, here's to (at least) a Christmas special!?!?

This episode was my favourite so far, but as with everything else about this series, Moriarty is "love it or hate it", I guess. I felt it was the episode closest to the spirit of the original, and the showdown between Moriarty and Holmes was great. Also the bickering between Holmes and Mycroft. And the wonderful Murnau references!

(I'm still not sure if this really was Moriarty, though. Some weird voice in my head suggests that Moriarty is actually a woman - the girl from the mortuary...)

Still, here's to (at least) a Christmas special!?!?

That, AND a second series, or I shall chain myself to the front door of the BBC until I see it recommissioned!

Ah, Garrow's Law AND Sherlock Holmes... this is a very, very nice TV year for me (shame about Taking the Flak, though....)
