I'm not a gamer at all, but this game is just fantastic, especially for those of us who love the 18th century! Very special thanks to esteven for giving me the link, I'm addicted! And I made it all through the end, with a B- grade. Ha! Go me!

You can play online, it's for free, but image heavy. Dial-uppers, beware.

That lock is a pest! It almost drove me insane, but don't give up. Swearing at the screen helps... ;)

I have a feeling Ijust failed miserably. The Williams boy was killed - I think I may have been able to save him.

I failed him, too. Let's share the guilt... :-( (I also didn't manage to keep the prostitute alive. I have to give it another try...

That one is very tricky - a hint: keep your eyes on the wall...

It takes some practice, but that's what I like about it. It's great distraction! And you can always turn to the "help" programme if you get stuck. :)

I love that game. Wish it was available for purchase in an expanded edition.

Oh that's marvellous - thanks for the link!

Episode 1 was all going so well until I missed the whole point of the evidence showing part and tried to convince the grumpy Fielding that a pocket watch was my murder suspect - oh well...

I did manage to catch City of Vice when it was on. From what I remember it was quite good in a harlots and violence 'gritty' Channel 4 way.

I stumbled over the evidence-thingy as well and got yelled at! :D And I yelled back, much to the consternation of my cats...

It was really a good series; they should do more of that type. Very realistic as well, not the "beautified" 18th century that's so often shown. My inner geek rejoiced! :-D
