Blessing of the Animals
Today was UUCA's Blessing of the Animals, where people brought their pets into the sanctuary for a special service. Z was enchanted with all the friendly dogs to pet, but sad what we didn't have a pet to bring. Since he often talks about his "invisible brother," I suggested why not an invisible pet? He came up with Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla, the invisible flying chimpanzee. He doesn't fly so well, because, I forgot to say, he's blind. So, Rufus etc., the invisible *blind* flying chimpanzee. Also, because he's very small, he tires easily, so he has to be carried. Guess who got stuck holding the invisible pet for most of the service?
