We've been crowdsourcing our Christmas tree since 2005, with a brief break in '07 when it was called on account of pregnancy. Our friends all know, block out that weekend after Thanksgiving, it's time to haul out the holly. Other traditions have crept in as well: I usually make bread, Brian usually brings left over cranberry relish from Thanksgiving, and someone usually brings sweets that don't get eaten. Jaime is the one who crawls under the tree to help get it level, and Mark puts the star on top. This year we added Rachel's and Kristin's birthdays to the mix.
