Heat
Not only did we drive 650 miles north only to find yet *more* 90 degree temperatures, to add insult to injury, the air conditioning unit at my mom's house chose this weekend to quit. And we can't get a replacement unit in until Tuesday. So we're sleeping starkers with fans blowing directly on us, and spending lots of time in the pool, which Z loves, despite the annoyance of sunblock. Today Aaron and I rebelled and left Z with my mom while we decamped to Borders to bask in the air conditioning for a few hours. I know I used to live without a/c back in college, and when I first graduated--dear god, how??
