This is so good...I love Hephaistion's tirade, and the way he goes from angry to concerned in a heartbeat is cool too. Good job.

Hee, writing Hephaestion finally getting angry made me strangely gleeful, and this whole ch. was pure pleasure to write, so I'm glad you enjoyed it too. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Excellent! You posted it on lj too! I won't go into how much I like this Hephaistion - you know that already, and at length! I'll just go into Master Yoda mode and say, "Youngling, write next chapter quickly, you must." :D

Uy, if only I could channel some sort of writing Force at will! ^___^

But for now I'll just randomly quote one of my favorite Star Wars moments: Obi-Wan, with just a hint of suppressed amusement: "If they find us, they will crush us, grind us into tiny pieces and blast us into oblivion!"

I adore this story, but I've read part 1 and 2 twice, and now I need a new chapter soon! It's so refreshing reading something that deals with character almost always neglected, like the surgeon, the engineer and then Philip. But it's also wonderful to have Alexander and Hephaestion after a while. Very very good. Hugs and kisses. Michela.

Next ch. is coming along as soon as I can get the details to cooperate. I'm glad you like the story! (even though it did take a while to really get to Alexander and Hephaestion...) Usually comments don't affect my writing pace but this time it actually helped the rest of the story take shape a little faster, so - double thanks! :D
