So it's been a long weekend so far. On Wednesday we found out that my Great Aunt Elaine passed away. So today we had the funeral. Seen some family members that I don't even remember ever meeting. It's sad that you never see most of your family till something bad happens. So just one day left to this weekend, and I'll go grocery shopping and prolly not much else. Hopefully things will actually pick up at work like they say. I don't know how I'll make it thru another week if we don't have some work. Hopefully Dung doesn't start annoying me again too, but hopefully he'll have gotten over it this weekend of him finding out I'm really not interested in him and that he needs to leave me alone about it. It was nice not having him bug me, but I kinda miss talking to the kid. He's fun to joke around with at times.
So I've decided that I really wanna find out more about the Fort side of the family, which is turning out to be a little hard. No one really seems to know much of anything, even my grandpa's last sister thats still alive. Last night mom was going thru some pictures and stuff to show some of my dad's cousins today, and I saw some newspaper articles about my Great Grandfather that I don't remember having seen before. Most of the stuff was about him running for Sheriff again, and then a couple articles about some of the things he did, like getting 2 bank robbers, and an accident he was in on the way to an accident. So there's some interesting stuff out there about him. So maybe one day I'll have to go to the library and check out the old newspapers and copy some of it off or something. I'm sure there's a lot that we don't have.
