In Memories (Draft fic) Chloe/Oliver Lex R
Summary: Tess may have erased his memories, but not his personality,

“Mr Luthor?”
He turned around and watched as three men in suits looked at him before they discreetly tried to look at the
woman lying on the ground. He did not know where he was, who he was. It was almost as if he woke up from
a dream he could not remember and the first sight that greeted him was blood red skies and the sound of chaos
below him.
“Your orders, sir?” One of them asked and something made him believe there would be no questions asked in
what just happened.
“Fix this.” He turned back to the window and watched the bleeding sky and tried to grasp anything in his mind that would
tell him who he was. There was nothing, when he turned back; the woman and the men behind him were already gone.
A loud noise caught his attention and he turned and watched as a plane was about to nose dive into the ground below,
only to stop. He squinted and watched as the plane steadied before slowly descending. A flash of blue and red caught
his eye, but it was too fast for him to see.
His eyes caught his reflection; eyes of cold grey steel looked back at him as he touched the window pane.

“Chloe Sullivan.”
Chloe turned around and the smile on her face disappeared as she glared at the man before her. It’s been almost six
months, and there was still no sign of Tess. They had no proof, but knowing the man before her was alive, she knew
he was responsible for Tess’s disappearance.
“It seems congratulations are in order.”
“What are you doing here?” Chloe asked instead as her hands itched for her phone. They were in public and people were
looking. It wouldn’t do Oliver any good if his wife was seen attacking the long lost Luthor heir.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that question? Metropolis is my home after all.” Lex replied before he looked at the building she
came out from. “I’m assuming you’ve just dropped by to visit our friend Clark?”
Not rising to the bait, Chloe just closed her jacket and gazed coolly at Lex. “Looking back at what you’ve lost, Lex?”
Lex looked at the spinning globe of the Daily Planet before he fixed Chloe with a stare. “It’s not exactly easy to hold on to
something when I wasn’t there to protect what was mine to keep.”
There was something odd about the way he was looking at her, and Chloe hoped that the jet was ready when she
arrives at the airport. “I wish I could say it was good to see you Lex, but that would be lying.”
Lex just gave a small smile. “You might have to get used to it, Chloe. After all, your husband still has his hands where
it doesn’t belong.”
“The merger between LuthorCorp and Queen Industries was perfectly legal. I know that concept must be hard for you
to understand, but Oliver did nothing wrong.”
“My father acquired the shares needed to bring everything back to LuthorCorp...”
“The paper work was proven to be fraudulent and the stock holders threatened. Speak to your lawyers Lex, I’m done.”
Chloe snapped back as she turned around.
Lex Luthor just watched as the woman disappeared from his sights before he walked back to his limousine. “Hatcher.
Take me back to the penthouse.”
“Yes, Mr. Luthor.”
Lex sat back and analysed the conversation that took place. The woman clearly hated him. He found out about her
by accident. After the dead woman was taken away from the office, he looked around to see if there was anything that
would tell him who he was. A framed article on the wall gave a name to his face.
Lex Luthor.
When the men returned, he ordered them to find everything they can about him. Smoothly lying that in his hiding, he kept
out of touch with the news and wanted to know who was who in his life before he disappeared.
When one of them offered to take him back to his penthouse, he just nodded in agreement, but kept his hand in the gun
concealed in his pocket.
Three days later, he read about his entire life.
The death of his brother, his mother, his life in Smallville. His disastrous weddings and one face caught his attention.
He looked at her face, eyes afraid even if her face remained impassive as she held his hands as they walked up the steps
of the court house.
The name Chloe Sullivan meant nothing to him, but there was something about her face that drew him in. More than half a
day and there was nothing about Chloe Sullivan, almost as if she disappeared. No record of her dying, or anything that would
give a clue where the young woman went.
Until he read the papers the next day celebrating the union of Chloe Sullivan to Oliver Queen.
The man’s name may mean nothing, but the reports, news paper articles scattered around his penthouse made it clear
Queen was not someone he can call as an ally.

This came about after a) The whole Chloe in Singapore talk. In the recent thread, I think it was suggested that being based
in Singapore meant the Chlollie family was away from soon to be President Luthor, b) the whole memory wiping scene. Lex
is Lex, with or without his memories, and I doubt he would just look around and accept his current situation. Most likely, he
will try and find out the truth. c) In the Naughty Seduction thread, there was a topic on how Chlex nearly became cannon,
after Lois was healed by Chloe, Lex finds Chloe - who wakes up with amnesia, which Lex uses to his advantage. d) There
has been Chlex interaction in the Smallville books that came out that made the Chlexer in me squee.
Basically, in his quest to uncover his memories, he finds little bit and pieces of everything about him.
Except he’ll get a few things wrong like having a relationship with Chloe. I don’t think I’ll have him have ‘flashbacks’ I have
a rough idea on how I want to take this. I just need to go ahead and do it!
Will I finish this? I’ll try because I do like the idea in my head. (and hope you guys like it too) In order: Sleeping Beauty (drafts
done, ready to send to beta) Birthright - dot points, 15 to 16 chapters. Anything for Love - dot points, though it’s giving me
grief. The Game - I may actually finish this Chloe/Lex/Oliver before The Game.
