On a different note, I was in town today, getting some plain black pants for work. I check my cell phone, which hasn't been on for the past FOREVER because I don't get cell phone service at home, and it says that I have 4 new messages. The first two are from my boss, who basically says, "We were all wondering where the hell you were, and if you don't want to work here anymore, just say it, and we're all kind of pissed that you've been AWOL for the past month, and, yeah, you suck."
Yikes.
I told them I was going home for a month during winter break, but I guess I should have put up a big colorful sign or something. I called back right away and talked to the assistant manager, who usually is very (fake) nice, but still sounded kind of pissed. I'm coming back to work and everything, but I'm hoping that they all get a sudden case of amnesia.
