OH. The house is devoid of radon gas, and we signed the purchase and sale agreement yesterday at the Panera in Hanover. Here is a picture of my little family leaving the Panera after this historic occasion:
Excited! However I had to cash in my last CD to make the down payment. Now we have zero savings. I am really worried about how we are going to swing this. Already our bank balance is really low this pay period and we don't even have a mortgage yet. I really hope we can do better when we move. After we signed, we went to IKEA to look around and fantasize about dining rooms and kitchens. We are never even going to be able to buy a coffee table again, at least not for many years. We will always be one paycheck away from falling hopelessly behind, and one salary away from disaster.
