Why do these things happen?
Well, my day started out alright...Slept till 9:30 then went to the wonderful world of computer science lab in the physics building. However, when I returned home, my day to a plunge into the depths of sadness. I was informed by shannon that Brenda Haskins was killed in a car accident last night:(
Doesn't seem fair does it? Only 16 and in school only a few hours before. So I called my best friends in the whole wide worl (Heidi and Becca) to see if it was true and to see how they were doing because they were very close with her. Heidi told me it was indeed true. And She, Becca, Sammy, and Kariann were all there and I could tell they were upset. They went to the accident site earlier this morning. I felt so bad because I couldn't be there with them.
But in my dad's words..."This too shall pass"...she will be missed greatly but eventually the pain will weaken.
On the bright side...It's Thursday!! Which means I get to go home tomorrow!!!! Yay!! Me and Mark are going shopping for my dress for Valentine's Day. Which by the way is only 16 days away. It's hard to believe this will be our 5th Valentine's Day together. That's crazy!
Oh yeah, God has decided to sprinkle white powder all over campus again. So once again we will be sloshing through chocolate slush and get sprayed by the buses as they pass. How great campus life is in the snow.
