[Riku shakes his head, watching the Venusaur carefully. He's joined by his abnormally large Charizard, who has to crouch in order to show up on screen.]

Are you sure it's not the other way around? At least Charizards can fly. Besides, grass types have way too many weaknesses.

Looks like you've got a pretty big toddler on your hands.

Anyway, the reason I caught a Bulbasaur in the first place was to help counterbalance my Rhydon and Onix. They have a quad weakness against Water and Grass, which are weak against Grass and Poison.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not dissing Charizards. In fact - [ He reaches offscreen, and after a moment, a thick vine arrives in front of him, holding his backpack. He unzips it and produces a red-orange egg wrapped in a blanket. ]

Got this little guy not so long ago. Should be hatching any day now.

Maybe I'm just bitter because my Ivysaur won't evolve. She thinks they're "ugly".

Aww, man, no. [ He looks legit sad, okay? ] Venusaurs were always my favourite of the starters' final evolutions. They're so badass-looking.

Somehow, I doubt being cool's enough for Vine. She's a handful, and it's why I've kept her in the box all this time.
