third joke; video/action for Goldenrod/R35
[ Marco clicks on the video feed to show him seated on his Rhyhorn's back, apparently comfortably. He's snacking on some chips, but he's polite enough not to talk with his mouth full. ]
Hey, guys. Still chillin' in Goldenrod. Got a Kadabra. [ The camera swivels to a Kadabra wearing a classy purple vest. He appears to be missing a monocle and a pocketwatch. ]
Only took me like a week, but hey, he's pretty cool. Taught him 'Dream Eater,' too. [ A pause. ] ... I think he's got a crush on Rachel.
Kadab! Abra....
[ Marco turns the camera back on himself, shaking his head. ] His name's Copperfield.
... I think me and Rachel are gonna stick around here for a little bit. I'm gonna train like hell, then come after the gym leader here. I hear once you beat her, you can cross up north? Should be cool.
In the meantime, I need a Charmander. Not sure how I got this far in my epic Pokémon journey without one. Anyone know where I can get one? I've got some money, but not a whole lot - Dream Eater's an expensive TM - but... I have four Abras in the PC, and a female Ivysaur I can breed, if anyone cares.
... And you know, there's a ton of Pokémon here I've never seen before. Is there a gorilla Pokémon?
