I had been interviewed by
jrvk but the link didn't show... and this one is by his other half,
alicia236 the blurb is at the bottom...
1. What is something that I'd never guess about you?
I have very few emotions, I don't get attached very easily, don't express my feelings very often. I also look unco when I dance, that's why I play music, so everyone else can look stupid. Despite having the rhythm in me, it don't like to come out.
2. What does your lj name mean?
Jowles82, derived from the latin "Jowles", meaning Nickname from High school, in year 9 when I was really chubby and had chubby cheeks, and someone pointed out that dogs' droopy cheeks are called "jowls", and the Numeration "82", meaning born in 1982.
3. Who is your favourite person and why?
I really cannot answer this. I have so many people I look up to, and so many I am thankful to and for, and so many I can count as being lucky to know, and so many more I would like to know better... No one person is more important than the others, simply because there is no universal measuring point. The chances I've been given, would they be more important than the friendships I've had? How long I've known people for? How much I think about people? It can't be a specific answer for such a general question. Go away, and think about a better way to phrase it.
4. If I gave you a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Just keep playing music till it all ran out.
No, Actually, I would: Buy a house or two (investment), buy a car, go on a round the world trip, tour the eastern states, then come back to adelaide, record at least 1 cd, probably 3, and then get back to reality
5. What is your view on sex before marriage?
I have no problem with sex before marriage. I think the first time is important and shouldn't just be a drunken "whoopsie" in a pub toilet, but total abstinence is too extreme a response. Safe sex is obvious, and I believe contraception should be advocated, I don't think the church or state should be pushing only one view of sex education (abstinence) but should be educating about all aspects, so that people can make an informed choice. In the US at the moment, there's federal funding packages which will only go to schools if they preach only abstinence as the the only safe sex practice.
sorry, they ranted a bit off track...
