...beginning the end
Well, I was supposed to update a lot sooner... but time got the best of me and I didn't get to. But I'm here now!
It's Friday...I have two more days of freedom. I couldn't begin to tell you how excited I am to be a *Senior* I know I know, "it's just another year"...but the way I see it.. It's my year.. it's OUR year. We are the top.. No matter what anyone says.. we've been through it..& most importantly, we've been through it together.
I went to get my Senior Pics today.. I hope they turn out good. I got all excited seein' everyone dressed up..and smilin' for the camera. I just kept thinkin' to myself.. 'I made it...we made it'. It's an unbelieveable feeling knowing that in a year most of us will be gone our seperate ways to college and starting a new life. It's sad in it's own way to know I won't spend another 4 years with all of this class but I'm very excited to see what the future has to hold for each and every one of my classmates. I wish everyone the best this year...I hope that we can all be close and have good memories, I would rather not leave on a bad note*
Speaking of all this Senior stuff...Tuesday night, 14 girls stayed the night at Brianna's. We had some drop-in's by some of the Senior boys..and some unexpected visitors. Only 2 people passed out before we got to do our big group Q and A session. Some went to sleep as we went along but for the most part, we all stayed up and enjoyed the convos. We got to know one another better..and I think it may have even brought us together some.. not because of the secrets we hold with one another..but the whole "bonding" experience. It was wonderful! I didn't even go to sleep that night. I had been up since 7:360 am Tuesday.. and didn't get in bed til around 1:00 am Wednesday night/Thursday morning. It was well worth the deprivation of sleep!
**Nic** I was thinkin', last summer, on the Sunday before school started..you and I went out for an ice cream and the last "cruise" of the summer. We went in the truck..do you remember that?? We talked to David Stacy and he made fun of us cause we had to go back to school before he did.. How about going and getting that ice cream and having our last "cruise" of the summer this Sunday evening as well? We could do it around like 6 or something.. so we wouldn't be late gettin' in. Just a thought
**Jeska** I tried callin' you the other night and I left you a voice message. I'm not sure if you got it or not. I really wish we could have gone out for lunch or something before I had to go back to school...but maybe one day that I don't have a whole lot of homework we can go out for some supper or something and --catch up-- on a lot of missed events! I miss ya bunches*
****To all my SeNiOrS**** Amazing isn't it? It's finally here..we are no longer the underclassman looking up to the ones on top.. we have arrived! We're going to be and AwEsOmE SeNiOr class...and hopefully the most memorable. I love you guys so so much!! btw: when should we begin preperation for our 'Senior Prank'?
well, this concludes my entry. There's not as much in it as some would think I should write..but it's what's on my mind right now.
I doubt that I will update before the first day...but, with some more nagging from my friends, I will update more often! =) (thanks guys)
