birthday!
up at 7.30am this morning! bodyclock functioning this way since i started work... I SHLD TRY TO SLEEP IN TODAYYY.
took leave yesterday (birthday leave yayyy) and im glad i did!! hahaha went to the west site for the first time and the west site definitely had better facilities as compared to the south! met an ex-colleague (we used to sit in the same office) and i think he vaguely remembers me! crossing my fingers now and i hope all goes well! EM called back for a second round. after the first round ended with such a feeling of defeat, i really dunno what to do now.. shall not think about it in case i develop another headache again >.<
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS! it was great :) met leslie after a trip to nus to submit my master's application (yes i've submitted my application so im obligated to finish up my master's now hahaha no turning back!) walked around suntec (first time this year i think! :P) and we noticed many shops were closed, probably due to poor human traffic in that part of the mall (near the cinema). we went carrefour and toys'r'us and spent 2 hours just looking at the products and talking about them. LOL glad that our frequency can match so well hahahah :D
dinner at kuishinbo! hahaha birthday treats this year all at kuishinbo :) we spent close to 4 hours inside the place and woo! it was deliciousss :D had plenty of salmon and maguro sashimi and goodness, the salmon sashimi tasted awesommee!! dunno how they did it, the sashimi super q and sweet. hahaha missed all 3 dongdongdong because we were seated too far away from the station >.< then again, didnt miss much la, just crayfish and oysters! dessert was awesome, maybe because we were so full with all the saltish crabs! coffee was awesommmee and the cranberry biscuits were super tasty :D i really like kuishinbo buffets because its just soo wholesome :D next year we will go for set-meal instead! :P 4 course dinner hahahaha :D
thank you everyone for your well-wishes too! i had a great birthday! cheers to many more happy birthdays to come :) looking forward to my end of year europe trip! - time to do some planning!! -
