Leaving on a jet plane
Failed to make it for MAF for the first time since graduation. I guess it's inevitable, things have changed quite significantly. And it's james' birthday dinner too, wouldn't want to miss it.. There's always a first isn't it? Just hope that next year I would be able to find the time to go back hc for maf! Ah I'm really getting older.. Somehow I seem to be lacking enthusiam for many things that I used to be passionate about. Sigh.
Leslie is leaving for Warwick in about a week's time. It's kinda hard not to feel sad about it, no matter how many times I tell myself there's nothing to be sad about. He is afterall, doing stuff he will enjoy! Warwick's got the nicest castle in the whole of England, and the course sounds interesting (as compared to engineering, ppe really sounds so much better :D). What's more, you get to tour Europe! That's definitely a plus :) people in Warwick should be really nice too.. It's a nice change I would say :) so Leslie if you're reading this, feel more excited about starting school and getting to know people okay! You will see many many international students and remember to have fun admist the books and notes okay! :)
Hmmm sometimes I really wonder what it will be lIike if I get to study overseas too. Sometimes I wish I can be studying in the same school with my other half, going to school and studying
together sounds great :) having English breakfast once a week sounds really enticing! Then again, if I had studied abroad, I probably wouldn't have the chance to attend social night, needless to say, the commissioning ball. Everything would have taken a drastic change haha. I may not be enjoying school now, but the times I had with 4e7 and Leslie over the past two years were priceless :) apart from school, I'm really happy and contented with what I have now!
I will take the next nine months as a test to this relationship, and I know we can make it! It's gonna get tough but we can do it! Jiayouuuuuu! Hahaha and I promise I won't cry at the airport ( at least try not to). It's a happy occasion afterall :)
