i am a happy girl today :)
the past 3 days have been really really really happening. i have all my friends to thank, for the wonderful time i had :)
went back to hwachong for the first time this week! was supposed to meet the 32nd councilors, and i was late for about 45mins. bleh. when i finally reached school, the bell rang and everyone took their bags and set off to their next class. when i saw that, there was this wave of nostalgia and i just felt so so happy cos everything almost felt the same :)
finally went up to hall to realise nothing had really started then! jamie, honyi, kailing, siqi, runi and me went back! steph came to hall for awhile before heading out with mr chow for lunch (like hot date like tt, haha) there was this very cute great-grand junior i met! haha from catholic high and he was wearing this philippe house shirt.
after the dance and song session, we went to the staff room and we saw a couple of teachers we know! (and this econs teacher with, erm, unique fashion sense. met mr remedios and he had all those funny toys to show us! there was this optical illusion thing that made things look smaller or bigger (depending on the direction of spin) and this perpetual motion spintop! quite interesting, a good physics teacher indeed :)
saw ms wang too(or rather, mrs sim) and we caught up a little (and the teachers still have the same agony - rushing lecture notes on the eve of submitting them for printing) and we saw mrs chin too and she recognised some of the councilors and came over to say hi x)
had lunch with the girls and mr remedios and i had yong tau foo! in the longest time! ordered the same things - tomato, meatballs, vegs, tofu and fishcake :) AND TOMYAM! i miss it like crazy though it tasted a little too sour that day ><
left school at about 3pm and i called huili up! left for bpp thinking we might be very late but hey! we were on time! haha it was a nice roasted chicken we bought at bukit timah plaza and we later bought pao pao cha at bpp! (though the 50calories per pearl thing really scared us later) forgot abt the straws so we ended up spilling the pearls all over the place HAHA (or rather, I DID ><) cheers for justine for hosting the poks over at her new house! we had a great tea/dinner (sushi, sandwiches, chicken and ice-cream!) watched deal or no deal for the FIRST time and it was quite an exciting episode i think (though the ending hurts, the participant had the 250,000bucks with him ALL ALONG) and we watched HUANG JIN LU on channel 8! it was quite an episode too, we all adore tay ping hui, so i guess we wont be following the show anymore, HAHA!
the way home was, as ruowei put it, TRAUMATISING. we spent abt 40 mins in the bukit panjang lrt loop and it was like those nightmares where you cant get out of the place you are trapped in. hahaha but we managed to catch the last train home so, well, put it this way, we were quite lucky to get out of the loop in time. >< poor ruowei and karin. haha but now we know we need to get on platform 1 and STAY on the train. (oh the lrt stations werent very inviting either, so dark lah! so scary at night. luckily we werent alone lahh)
got home at about 11.30pm and i was really very tired by then. hahaha and felt a little sian abt the next day too (but turned out it wasnt tt bad :D)
my first club activities day with everyone else from engin club (all the standing committees!) played a series of telematches and ice breakers and got to know a few more friends! for the first time in a long time, i actually exercised (i.e. run) so CHEERS! felt very very tired at the end of the day too, but it was a good day after all :) *and i realise i am a WORRYWART. always worry too much one.so irritating.
I HAD A GREAT DAY IN HWACHONG TODAY. thank you 75 and thank you girls for organising such a fantabulous exercise day! played frisbee, dodgeball and captain's ball today! yayy though sadly, i was on the losing side for all 3 days, with sam. jaey tried to stop my losing streak but boohoo, i stopped her winning streak instead. HAHA lunch at currywok was OISHII!! we had century egg tofu (which was damn good), curry chicken (yum!), sambal kang kong (cant go wrong with this) and prawn omelette(><) and talked quite a bit over lunch. just like the good old days!
went back to school and we slacked for some time before we started our hide and seek! hahaha it was really quite scary hiding alone, and all the blind corners really add to the suspense. plus the school was empty except for the councilors, band people and the fac com members. got caught rather quickly in the first 2 rounds and in both rounds at the college side, we could have ran off to safety before getting caught. hahaha then brendan suggested heading over to the chinese high side for hide&seek.initially we had our qualms when it came to the clock tower (after hearing so much stuff abt tt place, there's just this certain psychological thing to overcome) then after that we realised the whole tower is locked up and out of bounds so we started playing our freeze and melt game! the first round was terrible cos all 4 of us were corned from both sides (cos its this circular bridge thing) and we had nowhere to run to :( the second round was the one that took us about 1 hr to complete and we were just running for our lives i guess. hahaha chinese high is really really a huge compound with all the weird hiding places for a good game of freeze and melt :) *plus the school is EMPTY. like, except for a few stragglers and the security guard uncle, there were basically no one else left in the school compound. so when i shout "DON'T SAVE ME", everyone in the game heard. hahah the wonders of echo.
went home on a not-so-high mood cos dtizy lost her vball. this bunch of stupid boys took the ball to dunno-where and grrr, spoil the day ><
anyw hope you werent scolded for losing the vball, ditzy!
other than that, i'm sure all of us had a great games day today, in the all familiar hwachong! *damn, i really miss jc and sec school days alot.
a relatively long entry today! been quite a while since i last wrote anything of this volume. hahah hope everyone had a great day today for a refreshing start at school next week for the ntu and smu people, and the week after for the nus folks!
