Of office politics
I figured engineering-related work is my cup of tea, after realising the kind of office politics that went on in the finance/accounts/secretarial offices.
Went out to lunch with my usual engineers' gang and one of the secretaries (one of the younger ones) joined us. It wasn't the first time she joined us, but she was unusually quiet today, and she was sniffing a little. initially i thought she wasnt feeling well, but it turned out she was crying. We chit-chatted a little over lunch, joked a little and she lightened up a little, before she told me a little about what happened (emails/back-stabbing etc).
Office politics sucks :/ glad that my home office is soooo much better!!!!
