Let me reiterate what Hell yesterday's assembly was... Imagine a group of white people attempting to sing - or rather scream - a 'black church' song... The only words I understood throughout the whole thing was 'Joyful, joyful...' Everyone in the church was cracking up... Students... Teachers... Parents... Everyone... It was painfully funny... And then the headmaster stands up and asks us for a moment of silence 'to take it all in' and everyone starts laughing again... Apparently he was serious... And now... today... there's no assembly... Thank God for that... But is so doesn't make up for the nearly humiliating experience yesterday... At least I got a short nap in...
