Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the Day of Silence a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence which is caused by harassment prejudice and discrimination. I beleve that ending hte ( Read more... )

i did it too. and even though i fucked up a couple times, im really proud of myself for it. ppl gave me dirty looks, and sometimes i felt bad by not talking to ppl, but im still glad i did it. very. hoorah. and i am trying to do it for the rest of the day, but.....i have gymnastics and the last day of hebrew school. and if i tell them in doing it or show my slip, then if i do have to tlak, theyll make a thing out of it.i hate things.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO END THE SILENCE
Go to law school, potentially run for State Assembly and pass laws protecting gays, failing that sue people for oppressing gays.
