It has been forever since I last posted. Well, not forever I suppose, but a hell of a lot longer than I have gone without posting in the past... like... since I started livejournal. I will start with the most pertinent thing, I have a new phone number, and that new phone number is 818-916-4932.
Now I can continue and fill you in on EVERYTHING ELSE.
I do believe I began posting about my apartment in the last post, and I think there was something about needing to get barstools. That hasn't happened, but we do have a table for the computer (low, so we sit on a pillow at the computer), speakers for the computer, and a computer chair which we are not yet able to use for computer use. You can see where our priorities lie. We have been having a fantastic time. Our nights usually consist of general chillage at the Rosloff/Bain residence, which is also regularly frequented by quite a few others, and sitting in our own hot tub in our complex and watching Entourage or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thursday night is gaming night in Huntington Beach with the OC crowd. You should note that my OC crowd bares no resemblance to the OC crowd on popular prime time television. We sit around and flaunt our outrageous dorkishness for a few hours, then go home and sleep it off till the next time. This usually involves a two hour drive to get there in stop and go traffic down the 405. Sunday is sometimes church, sometimes not, depending on what I did the night before, and most other nights are up for grabs. Whoever gets to me first gets my time, though its starting to get to the point when the night doesn't seem entirely complete unless I spend some time at the Rosloff/Bain party house.
I did manage to procure myself a job, finally. I will be an entertainment host at Disneyland. I am excited, except that I will be required to look like a middle aged soccer mom by dress code. Three cheers for Disney appropriate dress. (hip hip hazzah?) Disney is also located in Anaheim, which is and hour away from The Valley, where I live, with no traffic... But this is Los Angeles... So I will generally have about an hour and a half to two hour commute to work, unless I spend the night in Anaheim or Huntington Beach the night before, which I will be doing next Thursday.
I've also managed to procure myself a man thing, as arm candy is almost a necessity in these here parts. It seems as though everyone of note has one. They don't necessarily have a man thing, but they do generally have arm candy, by decree of one or both involved. I belittle these arrangements as being arm candy only because I have had my fill of deep and meaningful. But mine really is quite sweet.
It is five in the AM though, and I am spending today on the beach in Venice, and flouncing around the 3rd Street Promenade with Sarah Vann, who is visiting for the week, and anyone else who would like to join in the caper, so I should probably try and get at least a little sleep, and stop typing incredibly long drawn out sentences.
As soon as I have my laptop over here, and the pictures I want to post uploaded, there will be a picture post, so stay tuned. Until then, goodnight, and have a good tomorrow.
