Super Epic Photo Update: Part 5

The next day (having returned to Bath after leaving Glastonbury) we drove out of Bath and headed east. This was a little area of countryside not far from the city.

The town of Frome (pronounced Froom)

Frome has some very quaint little streets in it. Since it was a Sunday they were all extremely quiet.

Some of Frome's streets are very similar to Bath's, lined with lots of old, Georgian buildings.

Soon we were off across the great Salisbury Plain.

And soon we were at Stonehenge. Despite it being one of England's most famous landmarks, I'd never actually been there before, and my mum hadn't been there since she was very young, so it was fun to stop off on the way home.

From Stonehenge we moved on to the city of Salisbury

William Longespee the Younger. He led the English knights in the Seventh Crusade, and died heroically in the assault on Mansoura, Egypt in 1250.

This clock is supposedly the oldest working clock in existence; it was built in or before 1386.

After leaving Salisbury we drove up to Oxfordshire.
