that is such bullshit. I bet that person is built out of bullshit, like Mister Hanky. You don't just make the pet care person deal with the nightmare of a wrong alarm code all week and then come ho... bullshit.

furthermore, who gives their cats access to the outdoors when they are on vacation??? or the basement [if there are any exposed walls that could give access to vermin or spiders, etc.]??? i'm sorry, but THAT'S where cat injuries come from. indoor cats do not get bitten to the point of infection unless they are confined with other hostile animals, that's why they live so much longer. & any time my cats had injuries that caused them to have to visit the vet, there was always one common denominator: they were left outside unattended ( ... )

my (indoor) cats have cut each other but good in their fights and we have never treated a single one of their cuts and they have never gotten maggots. This is one of 'those' people.

yeah, i would tend to say it's not the cutting itself, but what the cut gets exposed to. i mean it's a pretty well-known rule that if you can't afford vet bills & annual shots, keeping your cats indoors is a pretty sure bet to keeping them healthy. and puncture wounds are pretty serious, either from other animals, or really angry ones.

it seems like this is one of those situations where a company like this would have a pretty stringent legal release and just wanted to check up with mza to make sure he wasn't grossly negligent.
