wildfires...
and santa ana winds are makin' it friggin' hot here! i just checked the weather.com site and it says it's like 95 degrees right now...i don't think it's that's hot but i've been indoors all day and my air isn't on but yeah, it's a comfortable temp. to me inside my room.
the air quality is beyond unhealthy and my car has a layer of ashes on it even though i'm not all that close to the fires. the oc fire is closest me in over in the santiago area off the 241 but all that junk in the air is drifing over here in far south la:(
my dad has it the worst. all of those fires in san diego esp. the ones closest to him on camp pendleton and the one in fallbrook is pushing the ashes his way quite quickly even though he's right on the coast...a couple blocks from the beach. some of my brothers classmates who live on the other side of the 5 fwy-the inland side- have (and might still be) evacutated for the time being which sucks. his school cancelled school for the rest of the week (but of course he goes to a private school so ya know, they can do whatever the hell they want to do, lol).
on another note, our dental lab tech, ron, passed away last week and his memorial services are this week. it's kinda weird because when i hear the back door open at the office, i think it's ron coming in to drop off a patient's case:( oh well, it was him time to go apparently...
