Second Coming
Jesus I've been experiencing way too much radness lateley.
2 weekends ago: Saw Bleeding Through in Bakersfield- FUCKING RAD. The next night, I saw STRUNG OUT and GOOD RIDDANCE play for free in a parking lot in L.A.!!!!!! There was snow! There were people eating shit on snowboards! The bands were fucking amazing! Then the best mini golf ever on the way home. CJ won by totally hitting her ball into the pond.
Last weekend: I saw fuckin Battalion of Saints with an AMAZING companion, and it was one of the best things I've EVER seen. BOS were fucking raging, the guitars were fucking blowing me away, just straight up raging guitar. And the singer was just screaming his fucking head off!! Then the next night Abhorrance played what we thought was going to be a lame show for us, but it turned out to be really fun, we're all totally amped on it (THANKS EVERYBODY WHO CAME!!!! It means the world to us!) We played 2 old songs, and the kids were stoked. Then, on Sunday, me and Marisa went to the SF MOMA and I was pretty much blown away by the exhibits there.. we ate dinner at Herbavoire afterwards, and it was sooooo good. Marisa was totally stuffing her face. Then since we were already up that way we decided to dive across the bay to Berkley to see CHAMPION play the Gilman, fucking sweet. The singer (who's sXe) blatantly denounced shit-talking, violence and crew forming in the new wave Straight Edge scene. Pretty rad.
