I'm so bad
My god, I'm so behind in updates that it's embarassing. I'm going to pat myself on the back by noting that thankfully my life actually hasn't been filled with work exclusively. I've had travels to Vegas and LA and I've spent so much time with the girlfriend. There have been many nights of watching TV or movies, cooking with her kids, helping with things around the house and dinners out...but it all kind of changed while we were in LA. It was at the wedding reception that we decided to take a walk out by the beach in Santa Monica. We had an incredible discussion and kissed and decided that we'd make it more than friends from here on out. After we were done talking we went back into the party and got a standing Ovation because everyone thought that we were just getting busy (in their defense we left when the salads had just been served and returned in time for the last three songs of the party).
Last night I went over to her house again to return a couple of items that she had left in my car and I got to do one of my favorite things...tuck in the kids. It's still so surreal to sit with her six year old and read Dr. Seuss, but it's funny how natural it all seems. Oh well, it's time for me to get to work...so I'll try and be better about getting in updates.
