Well, the parents got back from England on Thursday. They had an amazing time and are already talking about the next place that they want to visit. Now, the day after they got back...my brother runs across an opportunity to travel to Ireland and work in another shop for a short period of time. He doesn't want to go because he isn't sure about leaving his wife for a month, or his dog...well shit! He's got a unique opportunity to improve his skills AND get paid to spend time overseas while getting paid. Very dissappointing.
Well, I'll probably be getting my Motorcycle learner's permit today...and the motorcycle on Monday. It's pretty exciting to think that it's just a few days away.
In other news, I got to see Shrek 2 on Weds with Tiina and her kids. It was fun to be able to spend time with them again...but kind of an eye opener about the way that life is different with kids. Stopping arguements in the middle of the movie, taking one to the bathroom at the most exciting part, having one of them yelling in my ear while I tried to watch the credits. The only satisfaction that I can take away from it was that almost all the problems were not caused by her kids...but the ADHD kid with them. Well, in any case, they are off camping this weekend and I'm working on some things for a local restaurant. So, I'd better get to it.
