Things I learned this weekend

This weekend was very educational....
1. 3-wheelers are much more fun with you on top and them on bottom...reversing this is sometimes painful and can be harmful to the 3-wheeler. (I rolled Mike's 3-wheeler about 10 minutes into learning how to ride it)
2. Hydrolock is a bad thing. (A different newbie was riding on another guy's 4-wheeler through the edge of a pond and went too far left...next thing we saw was his head and the very back edge of the two back tires bobbing up and down. We pulled him out, but there was water in EVERYTHING. In true colors...everyone just laughed about it and started working on getting all the water out.)
3. It will take much longer than I had expected to get back into good running shape. I was sucking on the asthma inhaler most of yesterday morning after what should have been an easy run.
4. There are some really cool people out there for me to make friends with. Now, I just have to get out of work and do it. (Suddenly, Match.com has many people writing me and asking me out. Go figure)
5. I'm so pleased with how quickly and effectively my new processes have been going at work. I have been able to cut and notch the material by myself faster than we've traditionally been able to do it with two people. As such, our slowest point has been my younger brother with the welding. It's very fun to know that there is much more money to be made.

So, I got up early today...I'm going to go for a short jog and then head in to work and do a little cleaning. I hope that everyone has an awesome week!

P.S. I took pictures...but since my friend screwed up his transmission right off the bat, and we were taking the pictures for a competition surrounding his 4-wheeler manufacturer, so I just put the camera away quickly. I'll take more next time, and will post what few I took when they are developed.
