(no subject)
So, I wrote in here about six months ago about how lightning struck my house and fried my DVD changer and TV...well, we finally got all the paperwork in order and they offerred to get me a new 36" JVC TV and 300 disc DVD changer...or give me about $1250. Well, I've learned that it's easier to keep a book of the DVD's...so I think that I'm going to take the money on that one, and I will probably hold out on the TV as well, since we got a slightly smaller one as an interim replacement. So, that's a chunk of money to pocket for a rainy day or put towards my camera fund.
I leave tomorrow for Charleston, SC...and I'm excited about it, though I am troubled leaving with so much work left to do. I've always pushed that you should take off when you schedule the vacations...but I have feelings of guilt when we are already a man down at the shop.
Oh, and Jimmy Buffett tickets go on sale this weekend and I'm not going to be around to hit up ticketmaster. I'll probably try and hit up soldout.com to grab a pair of them.
