The Return of the Cardigan Club

TODAY IS GOOD. Why? I'll tell you for why

A long long time ago (I can still remember) When I was a young twit of 18 I went to university (Did you Jon? I did yes. How terribly interesting!) and at university I had a band of brothers; Deiniol, Maddox and Callum. Deiniol was a photographer and a painter, Maddox was a musician and a media student and Callum... Well none of us really knew what Callum did. But he was there and at the first party we horrible little oddballs got invited to we found each other, nervous and overly polite standing in the kitchen too afraid to go into the main lounge. We spent the whole night together talking about tom and jerry cartoons and whether acid house could really replace reggae in the pilled up clubs of the valleys (It did and I was right. I've always been right, it's because I have ears.)

This is them, before we were cool.

And here they are, two months later at the same house, different party- the first known meeting of the cardigan club. Look at those debonair fucks.

I don't know why it was we started wearing our dads jumpers but we did, it used to drive Kat INSANE sometimes I'll see a hipster in a dad cardi, but there's not enough commitment- they always team with skinnies or pipe jeans, and all it ever seems to do is remind me how we did it first over 15 years ago and we did it to annoy the type of kids that now do it. It's a little bit upsetting/hilarious.

Here's them again, because dated photos make me happy. Digital ruins everything.

Anyway, Callum (middle one of last shot) is coming to London for a week and he needs somewhere to crash and apparently he never changes because he told me this news from a payphone at the end of the street half an hour ago and I'm all excited about him staying like a bloody eight year old having her his first sleep over.

Jammies at the ready.

The plan so far is to take him to see The Strays in case he's forgotten what good music is. he might of, his last facebook status was a Kings of Leon quote.
What else is there to do in London thats interesting? I've forgotten as I hate it all.
