Does a creature have to suffer slaughter at the hands of humans simply for the frivolity of satisfying our tastebuds? Is it really worth it?
Also apparently australia is now debt free, really I couldn't give a fuck when so many Australians are living in virtual poverty and Indigenous communities are living in third world conditions. Anyway I've only heard from a dubious source that Aus. is debt free- but frankly I think that our draconian government runs the country like it's a bank. Health, education, welfare are not priorities but the oxymoronic "war on terror" is! That war epitimosises the western hunger and reliance on non-renewable resources again reiterating that 20% of the world is raping 80% of the worlds resources.
Well that is my rant for the day- i figure that livejournal can be my soapbox. if you disagree with me fell free to express your opinions just don't get nasty...
