And then life happened, as it usually does.
Richard's birthday was the 15th of this month, as some of you might remember. As much as I wanted to, I wasn't able to get anything written for it. So many people have been wanting Target updates and have been waiting oh-so-patiently (some not-so-patiently) for them for such a long time and I've been unable to give much of anything. But! I finally have a small bit of news.
Remember I had issues with the setting? Well, all is settled now. We'll be staying in Texas for most of the Target novels.
Ryan has had a change in "office". He'll no longer be DEA. Now, I can hear people gasping in horror already, but have no fear, I think this works much, much better for the books -- and the characters.
When you meet Richard in the new (and I think improved) version, he'll be harsh. Remember how he was in the original? Take that and multiply it a couple of times. So harsh and unmoving that you might not even like him at first. But alas, have no fear -- deep down, he's still the same Richard and he'll come around.
