Kingdom Season 3 [the final season] (2008) Legal Loopholes and Helping People Drama TV series
Stephen Fry plays Peter Kingdom, a Norfolk solicitor who spends more time helping his fellow villagers than practicing law to paraphrase the series creators. Season three continues with Simon helping the quirky folk of Market Shipborough. Junior partner Lyle gets some more growth and back story, which is really great. Gloria the receptionist actually seems to regress and get less mature as a character for no apparent reason. Beatrice is Beatrice. The last episode ends with a revelation that was supposed to be the theme of the next season, but iTV pulled the plug on the show.
Rating: still 8/10, but not as strong as the first two seasons and there was a little character regression but overall a worthy watch
Extra Fic Rec Fun Time!
To Put It Right by thehoyd s a lovely post series fic that wraps everything up. It's perfectly in tone with the show and feels like it could have easily been an episode. The author gives Peter a chance at personal happiness that he's often too selfless to make and it's beautifully moving.

The Last Detective ason 2 (2003) Crime Drama TV series
Season two continues with Dangerous Davies' hostile work environment. He does move in with Mod Lewis as a roommate because his boarding house is under construction, but still doesn't move back to the boarding house when it's done. Basically I'm watching it now for Dangerous and Mod's friendship which is adorable even if you don't slash them. Dangerous' wife/ex-wife continues to be a supremely self-centered person who dangles poor Dangerous around giving him false hope which is just heart breaking to watch. His senior officer is starting to grudgingly respect him.
Rating: up to 8/10 because of more Mod screentime

The Vicar of Dibley eason 1 (1994) British sitcom
The conservative village of Oxfordshire is shocked when the Bishop sends them a progressive, exuberant female vicar. High jinks ensue. Vicar Geraldine like all good sitcom leads gets herself into crazy situations, but pulls through in the end. It's very formulaic and full of English countryside tropes, but the show is so very endearing and full of heart that you can't help but smile.
Rating: 7/10, your mileage may vary depending on your tolerance for sitcoms and/or British countryside tropes

Feel free to ask any questions or give any recommendations! I trust the good taste of my friends far more than I trust whatever flawed algorithm Netflix is using.
PS Feel free to drop on by my
