My birthday's in a week!

It's been quite a long time since I last updated. I'd say there's a pretty high chance of abandonment of this lj.(I will try to see to it that this does not happen though.)

Here is my academic progress:

- I have completed 1.3/2 online calc assignments that are due the 19th, making me ahead of schedule.
- I have read and made notes on chemistry covering everything that will be discussed in the next two lectures, giving me a nice cushion area for falling asleep in class.
-I have not done all the recommended questions for chem, but have done all those that relate to what's already been discussed in class, I'm therefore at about par.
-I've been avoiding physics with a passion. Right now included, I am procrastinating. I need to do so many questions that somehow manage to be boring and hard at the same time. News flash to Newton...I don't care about falling objects.
- My first chem and physics labs that count are both on Thursday... I'm nervous-excited and need to buy a labcoat
-I HAVE TWO MIDTERMS IN TWO WEEKS! GAH!
-Fuck, my first calculus quiz is tomorrow. Luckily Mr. Sidhu's class was 8000x times harder than this stuff.

Dark side of the Moon..treal:

The Pop Your Cherry party was surprisingly good. Usually I'm not into the whole clubbingy dancy thing but I was trashed enough that the whole thing seemed amazing. Pretty much everyone forgot about the objective of stealing v-cards to win so I gave mine to Kim since she was going to try. She ended up quiting after amassing about 30 when she ran into a girl with over 100.

I can no longer eat poutine. In fact, typing that made me think of it, and that made me feel ill. It's amazing what an entire bottle of red to myself, 3 tequila shots and 1 Jack shot can make poutine taste like when you are half passed out on your res bathroom floor. Oy.

I woke up this morning spinning and with raccoon eyes of enormous proportions. I took a cold shower, downed some advil and gravol and went to Tam Tam with Sara...amazing. I came home to find my shoes in Hannah's room. She told me that I left them in there when I passed out on her bed, forcing her and Ben to carry me back to my room. Of course my response to that was "What? Me? Pass out? Couldn't be...hey is that why I woke up in my clothes?"

My floor continues to be incredible...but the floor-cest is heightening and will probably lead to awkward situations in the future.

Despite promising that I would quite my newly-restarted habit of smoking two days ago I vaguely recall taking a few drags from people. I don't think that counts though as it wasn't my cigarette, I didn't smoke the whole thing, and the recollection is bit fuzzy so MAYBE it never happened.

In other news:

After spending more time with Brendan's friends here I am becoming less intimidated by them. Which is obviously a very good thing. I still have a hard time speaking to them and never really capitalize on the rare opportunities to jump into the conversion. This is usually because I feel what I have to say is either irrelevant or that someone else will say it anyway. It is such an odd feeling for me since I'm used to constant discussion when I'm hanging out with my friends (much to Galen's dismay at times...) and feeling at ease with pretty much everyone I meet. I can't pinpoint exactly why I'm so introverted around them but it definitely has to do with the cool factor.

Getting emails from Tasha and Allison was great. For some reasons it seems as though we are never online at the same time, so as a result I don't know nearly as much as I should about their daily comings and goings. Bennett's dating a Texan??? Oy, again.

I've declared Sunday to be "no bra day" and am hoping that this will last for at least the end of the year. Maybe I'll pick a commando day too...that seems like a Tuesday to me.

Oh, and I suck at the drinking game where you throw beer caps into other team's glass. I hope to improve with practice.

That's all for now!
